Coaching in Education

Student coaching

Being a university student these days can be a daunting prospect. There are often unexpected (and expected) issues that crop up of which coaching can be of great benefit. For example:

  • Managing independent study
  • Taking advantage of student facilities
  • Managing time
  • Managing a personal and household budget
  • What to do after university

Success coaching focuses on getting the best, how to get the best out of your degree, and more importantly, the best grades!
A Stanford University Study has shown that students who received coaching were considerably more likely to stay enrolled—and to graduate—than students who did not get such help. Moreover, the study found that one-on-one coaching was a cost-effective strategy for the universities themselves.

Teacher Coaching

If you are a teacher or work in the Education profession you may need help managing the following:

  • Time Management
  • Staff relationships and Management
  • Pupil discipline
  • Budgets
  • Meeting deadlines

‘Being a teacher these days is one of the most demanding professions to be in. Teaching can be a very rewarding profession but too often than not we can feel bogged down with the day-to-day pressures. For new teachers, lesson planning, behaviour and time management can be extremely challenging. For those in Middle and Senior Management, time, budget and staff constraints can be very difficult to manage at times. Coaching can really help you to see clearly and identify/plan your priorities and help to eliminate stress.’
